Dunfermline Ladies Hockey Club

Dunfermline Ladies 1st X1 are currently looking for some new players to help strengthen their squad for the season 2009/2010.

Season 2008/2009 was a very successful season for the Ladies section of the club as the 1st X1 gained promotion at Christmas to the National League Division 1B Section.  Unfortunately, we were unable to remain in the top flight for season 2009/2010 but valuable playing experience was gained.

Hopefully by strengthening the squad we have, we will again be able to challenge for promotion into National Division 1 once again.

Training takes places on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Rosyth, there are a number of people travelling from Edinburgh so car sharing, lifts etc would not be a problem.  Pre-season training re-commences on Tuesday 21st July 2009 @ 6.45pm so hope to see you there.

If you would like further details please contact the Ladies Club captain Sheila Duncan on scrduncantitch@talktalk.net or visit the clubs website www.dunfermlinehockey.com
