Annual General Meeting and Forum 2007
The 2007 Annual General Meeting and Consultation Forum was held on 16th June at Hughenden Sports Club, Glasgow, followed by an Open Forum.
The following business items were achieved:
- Approval of the 2006 AGM Minutes with agreed minor amendment
- Approval of 2006 Annual Report and Annual Accounts
- Approval of Mike Gilbert as a Director of Scottish Hockey
- Approval of appointment of Auditors for 2007
- Approval of Membership Fees for 2007/8 Season
- Approval for Open Forum
The Open Forum saw presentations from the Board and Scottish Hockey Staff, including Strategic Highlights [PDF, 161 KB] and Financial Summary [PDF, 149 KB]. Questions from the floor were welcomed on the five new business areas of Performance, Development, Governance, Communication, and Leadership.
Committee Convenors were nominated and approved by the members. There followed proposals and debate around Competition Structure and Byelaws. All points raised were answered, and are to be followed up by the relevant decision making groups in the appropriate manner.
Finally, Jackie Burnett noted the new Rule Changes for the year.
