Association of Scottish Hockey Coaches
The Association of Scottish Hockey Coaches cater for all coaches involved in the coaching of men and women, girls and boys.
The Association will provide opportunities for anyone interested or involved in coaching, to exchange ideas and expertise, to organise seminars and in-service training. It will also assist with the communication of coaching ideas and information to encourage the establishment of joint District activities.
The benefits of membership of the Association include:

Insurance cover against public liability up to a maximum of 5,000,000;

Legal Defence cover and help lines

Minimum of three newsletters per annum;

The opportunity to attend Seminars and Conferences organised by the Association;

Information and the opportunity to attend coaching workshops at discounted rates;
The Association is open to qualified hockey coaches.
The annual cost of membership will be

£15.00 for affiliated SHU members with email addresses*,

£18.00 for affiliated members without email.

£45.00 for non-affiliated members with email and £48.00 without.
If a teacher of hockey in schools/colleges or a non-qualified coach, membership is still available but benefits will not include insurance cover at a cost of £5 email and £8 without.
* Email members will receive all correspondence through by email
The membership will be renewable on 31 July each year and a pro-rata basis will operate.
