DOMESTIC COMPETITION ENTRIES 2008-2009

You will receive an acknowledgement message upon successful submission of your Form.

The message "Thank you for completing this SHU Competitions Entry Form. If you have any queries or problems with this Form, please contact Dave Crighton on 01896 813010, or email dave.crighton@scottish-hockey.org.uk" will appear on succesful completion of this Form.

All clubs are invited to apply to enter the following National League and Cup Competitions for season 2008-2009.  

Please complete and submit the form below NO LATER than FRIDAY 13th JUNE 2008.

Acceptance of entries will be subject to fulfilment of the conditions set down in the current Competitions Byelaws held within the Senior Competitions Manual.

This requirement includes nomination of suitably qualified umpires.

ENTRY FEES
The entry fee for each competition is detailed below. After your Entry Form is received, you will be issued with an invoice confirming payment due immediately [in full or deposit] and the due date for the payment of the balance.

LEAGUE ENTRIES - A non-refundable minimum deposit of £50 is required for each outdoor and indoor League competition entry.  

CUP ENTRIES - Cup entry fees must be paid IN FULL for each Cup entry.

Note: Clubs whose 1st XI play in the Regional League are reminded that they may enter their 1st XI in the District Cup, with subsequent teams in the Reserve Cup.

UMPIRE REGULATIONS

All teams in the Men’s and Women's National OUTDOOR League Div.1 and Div.2 must nominate FOUR graded Umpires.

All teams in the Men's and Women's National OUTDOOR League Div.3 must nominate TWO graded umpires (one of which must be a female for the women's NL Div.3).

All teams in the Women's OUTDOOR Reserve League must nominate ONE graded Umpire.  

Please nominate the Umpires in order of preference (eg your main Umpire as Umpire 1, your main back-up Umpire and Umpire 2, etc).

  • 100% of all outdoor appointments must be fulfilled by the teams named umpires.  It should be noted that only one umpire from your Clubs nominated list will be allocated umpire appointments, except in exceptional circumstances. The additional umpires will be appointed to games when the primary named umpire is unavailable. 

    ANY FORM RECEIVED NOT CONTAINING COMPLETED UMPIRE DETAILS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNTIL A FULLY COMPLETED FORM IS SUBMITTED.
