North District -

The North District Umpire Association have produced a development pathway to increase the quality and quantity of umpires within North District.  It asks Clubs to nominate an Umpire Coach possible 'B' badge to support and mentor umpires to increase standards and help with practical testing and it asks individual umpires to attend a craft night or development workshop once a year to keep up to date.

Umpire Coaching

West District delivered a pilot Umpire Coaching Course to experienced male and female umpires from local Clubs who were willing to spend time observing a match being umpired and then discussing their findings.  This will be used to allow experienced Club umpires to give support to newly qualified umpires to help with confidence or to practically test umpires within the club environment at friendlies or lower league matches for example.

West District Umpires Association Meeting

The next meeting of the Association will be held at:

Western Wildcats Hockey Club
