Mission & Objectives
Scottish Hockey's 2008-2014 Corporate Strategy 'Business For The Future' defines its Vision Statement and the Key Interest Areas to be delivered on during the plan's lifetime. These are detailed below.
Vision Statement
To provide the opportunity for more Scot's to enjoy hockey in any of its forms to the highest level they desire throughout their lifetime.
Reflecting the direction that hockey will take heading towards 2012 and 2014, Scottish Hockey aim to ensure we engage the majority of people who play hockey for enjoyment. Our former Mission Statement is still valid and our efforts to make Hockey Scotland's leading family team sport are still a top priority.

Input
This business plan is for the whole of Scottish Hockey. To achieve the vision and targets it will require considerable involvement of Schools, Clubs, Districts and the people who make up these organisations. It will also require the support of partners including sportscotland, the Scottish Institute of Sport and Area Institutes, Local Authorities, Facility providers and the Scottish Government.
Through a clear direction, a clear and communicated plan, co-ordinated activity and co-operation across the whole of Scottish Hockey we can take advantage of these opportunities to increase the quality and quantity of hockey throughout Scotland.
