Officiating

Being an official is about more than just blowing a whistle.  There are many different officiating roles that need to be filled and they can offer the chance to travel to some pretty cool places.

Get started at domestic indoor and outdoor level and work your way up to international tournaments with EHF or FIH and see the world while meeting great people.

See which officiating role takes your fancy-

Umpire Coach: An experienced umpire, you’ll support and develop inexperienced umpires to improve their performance. It would be great for umpire development if there was an umpire coach within each club.

Tournament Director: As TD you are in control of a tournament and have responsibility for working with the organising committee to ensure all arrangements have been made and the tournament runs smoothly.

Umpire Manager:  This role disseminates all information to the umpires about game schedules and arranges discussions with the umpires to provide feedback about their performance.  It’s the Umpire Manager that creates a team atmosphere and gets people to work together.

Technical Officer: Reporting to the technical director, you’ll manages the judge and check facilities are suitable. As Technical Officer you also ensure all team lists have been completed correctly before the game.

Judge: With the title of “Judge”, you’ll work with the technical officer and be responsible for timing of games and keep track of goal scorers, substitutions and any cards issued.

Get started by contacting us to note your interest and we’ll do the rest.
