An intermediate coach is someone who has been coaching for a few years and is looking to improve their knowledge and understanding in their chosen area of coaching or possibly change the environment or players they have been working with.  There are 2 options for qualifications and GB Hockey coaching club workshops to choose from.

Sessional Coach

This coach could be someone who is looking to deliver youth or club sessions during after school clubs, summer camps and adult club participation. Coaches may also find this course beneficial if they are supporting sessions in other programmes (e.g. club or school team or player pathway).

It might be the right time to look at attending a Sessional Coach course or accessing workshops for CPD.

Coach

This coach could be someone who is looking to lead a school, youth club or senior club team, supporting the player pathway or beginning to support other less experienced coaches. The coach who is starting to work more regularly with a group of players whether for a tournament or league, building a team is an exciting time. It might be the right time to look at attending a Coach course or accessing workshops for CPD.

We can assist coaches looking to move onto the next stage of development and the pages on this website will help you in the next stage of your coaching journey.
