Hockey is a sport you can play at any age. There are no barriers.

There is an increasing number of participants in hockey who qualify as Masters. At each level, depending on the rules of the tournament or competition, there can be opportunities for a small number of under age players to participate with their more senior team mates. A sport for life, why not get involved at Masters level?

In Men’s hockey, there are teams and fixtures at the following levels:

  • Over 40
  • Over 45
  • Over 50
  • Over 55
  • Over 60
  • Over 65
  • Over 70

In Women’s hockey, there are teams and fixtures at the following levels:

  • Over 40
  • Over 45
  • Over 50
  • Over 55
  • Over 60

Criteria for Eligibility.

  1. Be an affiliated member of Scottish Hockey.
  2. Meet the FIH or WMH regulations for the competition.

 

  1. Meet one of the requirements of a), b), c) or d) below:
  1. a)      Been born in Scotland.
  2. b)      Have one parent or grandparent who were born in Scotland.
  3. c)       Are married to or in a civil partnership with a Scot as defined in (a) or (b).
  4. d)      Have a 5 year continuous residency period in Scotland
