CHILD PROTECTION
Scottish Hockey has a strong commitment to the ethical delivery of hockey in Scotland.
Part of that commitment is to 'a sport that provides a safe environment for young and vulnerable people'.
For all young players and their parents, please read the Child Protection Policies and Procedures detailed in our Ethics Manual. This has been recently updated to reflect changes in legislation.
All volunteers and professionals who we employ to work with children are subject to these policies and procedures. They are also subject to discolosure checks under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme to ensure that they are suitable for working with children and on-going training is provided.
