When did you start playing hockey and what was it that drove you to play for your country?
I started playing hockey when I was 10 when I played all through school. I then played for EdinburghUniversity and Scottish Uni's twice in Loughborough and Birmingham. After Uni I was in partial retirement and only played occasionally for the Grange 3's but four years ago I started playing fully again and after establishing myself in the Grange 1's I got my first chance to play for Scotland at the start of 2007 while on tour in South Africa. I have been a regular member of the squad since.
