GOVERNANCE
Scottish Hockey is the recognised national governing body for the sport of hockey in Scotland. The organisation was incorporated in June 2000, a company limited by guarantee but without a share capital, in order primarily to limit the liability of its members.
Scottish Hockey is governed by its Articles of Association, which outline the legal structure of the company. The formal proceedings of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) are also detailed.
The Operational Framework outlines the structure of the sport's governance in Scotland.

Scottish Hockey has a Board of Directors, who serve out specific roles and responsibilities according to their area of expertise. The Board of Directors meets at least six times per year, or more regularly as the need arises, to set strategy and policy, and monitor performance.
Finally, Scottish Hockey also operates under the guidance of comprehensive policies, and operates a robust insurance scheme covering the business and its members.
