Sports Development Assistants
Scottish Hockey are looking for Sports Development Assistants to support local schools and Sports Development Teams to develop the organisation and participation in hockey across Scotland. Successful applicants will trained as Level 1 Hockey Coaches as well as receiving First Aid and Child Protection training
Individuals with an interest in hockey or sport in general may find this position particularly attractive; however, this is not a prerequisite of the post.

Development Manager
Scottish Hockey is the National Governing Body for Hockey in Scotland and has an immediate vacancy for a Development Manager to join its busy team on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
London 2012 and Glasgow 2014 will provide a heightened awareness of Hockey, and this, combined with the completion of the new National Hockey Centre in 2013 will provide fantastic platforms to steer the development of our sport in a dynamic and diverse way. The Development Manager of Scottish Hockey has an exciting opportunity to make a real difference.

We are seeking to appoint a capable and reliable individual to provide procedural and developmental support to the Management Committee and Board in their role of governance, to be in the centre of managing the business practices of Scottish Hockey, and to support the CEO and Finance Officer in the day to day running of the business.

Scotland U21 Men - Head Coach
Scottish Hockey, the national governing body for hockey in Scotland, with support from sportscotland, is recruiting for an U21 men's head coach. At this time we are looking for a performance coach capable of meeting the challenges of the post to note their interest in the position.
The individual must demonstrate an understanding of world class hockey and the requirements for player development to succeed at international level.

Performance Coaches - Midland District
An opportunity has arisen for Hockey Coaches to deliver a coaching programme for the Midland District level U18 and U16 players (male and female)
The District Programme consists of the most talented male and female hockey players in the district, aged 14-18 years who have not made national youth selection but wish to develop their hockey playing abilities through 1.5 hours per week pitch session.

Higher Education Club Mentors
Scottish Hockey is now looking to recruit several university mentors. The key responsibility in this role will be supporting university hockey clubs and teams in their administration in relation to Scottish Hockey and Scottish Universities Sport.
Specific duties in this capacity may include going through Scottish Hockey procedures with the club committee, acting as a trustee for the club and assisting the club in recruiting new members. Additionally, you may provide support for the club to:
- Register with Scottish Hockey
- Enter Scottish Hockey and SUS Competitions
- Register players with Scottish Hockey
- Organise training for umpires and coaches
- Organise fixtures (Notify teams, umpires, facilities etc)
- Rearrange fixtures when required
This role provides a very rewarding opportunity for someone who wishes to share their experience and would be suitable for former club members, coaches or anyone else who's had a hand in organising university clubs or similar.
