Event Manager Vacancies (Volunteer)

Scottish Hockey are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to lead a team of volunteers and ensure the smooth running of the following event at Peffermill, Edinburgh:

 

18th April                   U18 Youth Cup Finals
 

You will receive training and support from Scottish Hockey staff prior to the event. For more information on the key responsibilities of these roles, take a look at the job description for the U18 Youth Cup.

Youth Panel


Aged 16 - 21?  Want to make a difference in hockey and learn new skills at the same time? 

The Scottish Hockey Youth Panel has been established to encourage more young people to participate in leadership roles within hockey.

Volunteer of the Year 2009


Scottish Hockey Volunteer of the Year Awards are designed to recognise and honour the contribution made by dedicated Volunteers throughout Scottish Hockey.  In 2009, these are integrated into the Annual Awards Dinner 2009
 
There are five categories of award, all with the same status:
 
1.     National Volunteer of the Year
 
2.     National U21 Volunteer of the Year 
 
3.     District Volunteer of the Year 
 
4.     District U21 Volunteer of the Year
 
5.     Club Volunteer of the Year

Lloyds TSB Staff Matched-Giving Scheme

Lloyds TSB have established the Matched Giving Scheme to encourage members of staff to get involved in the voluntary sector and to help fundraise through personal participation in events or give their time freely to support the work of charities throughout the UK.


The award programme is open to all staff employed by Lloyds TSB Scotland plc, Cheltenham & Gloucester, Scottish Widows, Black Horse and other Lloyds TSB Subsidiaries.  They can apply for up to £500 a year to match their work for charities, which can be either fundraising activities or voluntary time.
