Schools Cup Finals
George Watson's College and Peffermill are teaming up to host the 2010 Schools Cup Finals on Thursday 11th March 2010.
The Girls' competition begins at 10am with a round robin competition between teams qualified from each District. The final will be at 3.45pm.
The Boys' competition began in January with 15 teams in a knockout competition. Boroughmuir triumphed over Glenalmond College 5-4 on penalties after there match ended 3-3 in normal time. George Watson's College will play Fettes this evening to decide the finalists who will push back at 4.30pm.

Online Entry Forms Launched
Entering a youth competition is about to get a whole lot easier for schools, clubs and Districts. Scottish Hockey are piloting online entry forms for the remainder of the youth competitions this season.
The first competition that the online forms apply to is the U16 Youth Cup Finals. District Convenor's should enter their qualified teams online including coach, manager and development umpire details by the deadline of 5pm on the 26th February 2010. After the deadline it will not be possible for any teams to enter late, allowing the draws to be sent out quickly.
International Stars at 'Hockey Academy' Camps
If you just can't wait for Scottish Hockey's summer camps to start, have a look at the Hockey Academy's website for information on their Spring, Summer and Autumn camps. The camps run from 10am to 4pm at Meggetland in Edinburgh and there will be some of Scotland's top players and coaches there to help you improve your hockey at the same time as having lots of fun! Additionally, there will be specialist Goalkeeping coaching from George Guy throughout the camps.
Spring Camp: 5th - 9th April
Summer Camp: 26th - 30th July
Autumn Camp: 18th - 22nd October
You can download application forms from www.hockeyacademy.co.uk and book your place for one day (£30) or a whole week (£130).
U18 Indoor Interdistricts
Six girls' districts and 4 boys' districts will battle it out this weekend to become Indoor Interdistrict champions. The Girls' competition will take place on Saturday the 30th January at Hutcheson's Grammar School in Glasgow whilst the Boys' competition will be on the 31st January at Forthbank in Stirling. Details of the draws and Umpire allocations can be found on the Interdistricts page.

U18 Indoor Cup - RESULTS
Twenty teams battled the weather to compete in the U18 Indoor Cups at Bell's Sports Centre in Perth on the 16th and 17th January.
After exciting and competitive matches, George Heriot's won the girls' tournament and Hillhead won the boys'. All the results can be found on the Youth Competition pages.
Updated youth competitions pages
Scottish Hockey's youth competitions pages are currently being updated including fixtures and results. Check out how your team or district are doing in our various competitions so far this season. We endeavour to update them the day we receive results from the home teams, so remember to email Claire Fergusson after your matches.
Outdoor interdistrict results
All of the results and final standings from November's hotly contested Boys and Girls U16 and U18 Outdoor Interdistrict Tournaments can now be found in our youth competition section.

Youth newsletter taster
Scottish Hockey’s youth newsletter is a membership benefit that goes out to registered schools and youth clubs twice a year. The latest edition is now available and Scottish Hockey decided to post this issue online as a taster for non members.
This newsletter helps explain the new self-pass rule, outlines changes made to the female U16/U18 District Tournament format and introduces our new Youth Development Officer Steven Percy.

Event Manager Vacancy (Volunteer)
Scottish Hockey are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to lead a team of volunteers and ensure the smooth running of the U18 Youth Cup Final's at Peffermill in Edinburgh on 8th May.
The successful candidate will receive training and support from Scottish Hockey staff prior to the event. For out more about this role in our vacancies area.
