Callum McLeod gets on his bike to support youth international performance programmes

Callum McLeod, Performance Manager, will be undertaking a feat of
endurance to raise funds for the Scotland youth international
programme.

Over the course of five days beginning on Sunday 21st August, both
Callum and friend Robbie Wilson will be cycling parts of the famous
Tour de France course, totalling 720km in distance and over 11,000m
of ascent, including scaling the peaks of Col D’Aubisque (1709m),
Col de Tourmalet (2115m), Col D’Aspin (1489m), and Col de
Pereysourde (1569m). The cycle will begin in south west France at
Biarritz, crossing the Pyrenees to finish at Argeles Sur Mer in
south east France.

The funds raised will greatly support the youth international
programme at U18 and U16 levels, and will enable Scottish Hockey to
support player contributions for individuals who may have
difficulty with the costs of participating in the performance
programme. All contributions will be warmly received and
appreciated by the coaches, management and most importantly, the
players in the performance programmes.

For more information about the cycle and to make a donation, please
contact Callum McLeod directly via email
[email protected] or by phone 07974 564
