Celebrate ‘3 Years To Go’ with hockey activities in Glasgow
Get involved in Glasgow 2014’s exciting series of outstanding
sports activities, in celebration of the ‘3 Years To Go’ countdown
to the Opening Ceremony. For the Sports Challenge, festival goers
will get a map with details of the sports stations marked on it,
which will be stamped once people have tried the activity- and
those with five or more stamps will receive a special limited
edition pin badge.
There’ll be lots of exciting activities representing the Games’ 17
sports, so keep an eye on the website and our Facebook and Twitter
page, where activities will be revealed each day in the build up to
the weekend of fun.
Fancy playing hockey on an inflatible pitch? Then
come down to George Square in Glasgow this weekend to celebrate
Glasgow 2014’s ‘3 Years To Go’ countdown to the Opening Ceremony,
where there will be a variety of different activities going on to
showcase the 17 sports.
Glasgow 2014 will be taking over parts of the city and running a
massive ‘3 Years To Go’ Sports Challenge at the Merchant City
Festival on Saturday July 23rd – Sunday 24th July.
There are loads of fun activities, including hockey on an
inflatable pitch and pole vaulting in George Square and much more!
Festival goers will be encouraged to take part in a one-off special
‘3 Years To Go’ Sports Challenge, to win a limited edition pin
badge.
