All clubs are required to affiliate to Scottish Hockey to allow entry to Scottish Hockey and District competitions. The elements that make up affiliation are very basics for running a club:

A constitution

A simple set of documented rules that govern how your club will be run.

A committee

A group of appointed officials made up of a minimum of president/treasurer/secretary/child protection officer if applicable. They report to their members and are responsible for duties and decision making that ensure your club operates effectively.

A child protection policy (if applicable)

A document that makes it clear what you will do to keep children safe in your care.

A database administrator

A club representative that is the link to Scottish Hockey for general communication and controls the club membership database.
NOTES: – Insert all applicable documents into the silver accreditation page and leave Affiliation page brief to direct club personnel to Silver page
