The Senior Aspire Schools Cup is an 11-a-side competition for school teams from S4 to S6 to participate in a national cup. Teams play in a tournament at a centralised venue, with the top teams qualifying for Finals Day.

The criteria for schools entering is as follows:
1. A full school hockey programme running for less than 3 years. A full hockey programme would be weekly training and regular matches throughout the school year.
2. The school did not play in the Scottish Schools Cup in previous 3 seasons.
3. Multiple schools can come together to create a team where there are limited numbers or resources available, providing no trials are held to select teams.

Entries will open in August.

There will be 2 qualifying tournaments – schools can choose which one to enter:

North: Glenalmond College, Perthshire on Wednesday 27 October 2021.

South: Peffermill Playing Fields, Edinburgh on Friday 5 November 2021.

The winners qualify for the finals on Friday 18 March 2022 at Peffermill, Edinburgh.
