Aberdeen Asset Management National Men’s League Division 1
The Aberdeen Asset Management Men’s National League was in full swing this weekend, with teams battling it out for those vital points. Edinburgh University got their first win of the season this weekend over bottom of the table Inverleith, running out 4-2 victors.
There were close games all round, with top of the table Grove Menzieshill drawing 3-3 with PSL Team Sports Clydesdale. Western Wildcats came from 2-0 down to come back and grab a point off Grange, with the final score being 2-2.
AAM Gordonians move up the table to fourth with a 4-1 win against Dundee Wanderers.
Aberdeen Asset Management Men’s National League Division 2
At the foot of the table FMGM Monarchs played twice this weekend but sadly not succeeding in gaining any points to help them move up the division. On Saturday they lost 5-1 to Granite City Wanderers and on Sunday lost 3-1 to Aberdeen GSFP.
Top of the table Watsonians travelled away and fought hard to maintain their current position with a 4-3 win against Alpha Data Carnegie. However Stepps carried on their campaign to be top dogs with a solid 6-0 win against CALA Edinburgh, goals coming from a wide range of players; D.Norris, D.Glass, D.Hitchon, A.Peock, A.Paterson, A.Ross.
Glasgow University lost their first game of the season away from home but put up a good fight against Aberdeen GSFPto lose only 4-3. Erskine Stewart’s Melville beat fourth position Uddingston 3-2 and Falkirk GHG drew with St Andrews University 1-1.
Aberdeen Asset Management Men’s National League Division 3
It was goals galore at Forthbank with bottom of the league Ayr, who are yet to win a match, losing 6-4 to Stirling Wanderers. Wanderers move up the table to third.
Two teams started their season this weekend with University of Strathclyde coming away with a point, in a close game against Giffnock, drawing 4-4. However Aberdeen University just missed out on a point by losing 4-3 to Highland resulting in them dropping to second from bottom. Harris Academy FP drew 2-2 with Perthshire and Dundee University also drew 3-3 against 2020 Renewables Greenock.

Central Division 1
Inverleith put in a marathon performance this weekend playing on both days, travelling to Clydesdale II to lose 6-1 but redeeming themselves on Sunday with a close 4-3 win against Edinburgh University III.
The top two teams fought it out this weekend but Grange II kept their 100% record with a 3-1 win against Hillhead II. Edinburgh University II won their first game of the season with an astounding 5-1 against Western Wildcats II.  Stepps II lost 2-1 to Grange III and Thomsons Cycles Kelburne II won 3-1 against Stirling University II.
Division 2
Anchor moved to top of the table with a 3-1 win over Alpha Data Carnegie II and Rottenrow Blue Sox won 6-1 away from home, beating Falkirk who are yet to win a match. Clydesdale III won 5-0 against Livingston West Lothian and mid table teams GHK drew 2-2 with Erskine Stewarts Melville II.
Midland/ North Division
Grove Menzieshill II had a great weekend beating Aberdeen GS III 8-0 at home to move them third in the league.  AAM Gordonians II won 6-3 to Aberdeen GS II and Aberdeen University lost to AAM Gordonians III 3-0.

There were only two games played this weekend due to the U16 & U18 Girls Inter-District tournament being played over the weekend. In Aberdeen Asset Management National Women’s League Division 2 Glasgow University and AAM Merlins Gordonians drew 1-1. In In Aberdeen Asset Management National Women’s League Division 3 Aberdeen lost to St Andrews University 1-0
