Child Protection: Updated Disclosure Procedure
Scottish Hockey has a strong commitment to the ethical
delivery of hockey in Scotland.
Part of that commitment is to ‘provide a safe
environment for young and vulnerable people’.
All volunteers and professionals who we employ to work with
children are subject to disclosure checks under the Protection of
Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme to ensure that they are suitable to
work with children and to provide on-going training.
With the introduction of the PVG Scheme there are some changes
in how we have to process PVG applications. Please see the child protection page for
more details and to download an updated self declaration form.
