Grove Menzieshill dominate the league with another clean sheet

Aberdeen Asset Management Women’s National League Division 1
League leaders Grove Menzieshill are dominating the league and remain unbeaten as they won 8-0 against seventh place GHK.
Milne Craig Clydesdale Western are close on the Edinburgh leader’s tail as they won 3-0 against Edinburgh University. Western are six points behind with a game in hand.
The young Edinburgh University team played local rivals Grange EL, after the loss to the Western ladies the day before the students wanted to prove a point and they did just that. They beat the bottom of the table team 6-0, which sees them move up to third.
Fourth place Dundee Wanderers travelled west to face Glynhill Kelburne and beat them 2-0 whilst at the other end of the division Western Wildcats lost 3-0 to CALA Edinburgh.
Aberdeen Asset Management Women’s National League Division 2
Hillhead move to the top of the table after a busy weekend of back to back wins against Haddington. After travelling away to the bottom side on Saturday winning 5-1, they played again on Sunday at home and secured a 5-0 win.
This weekend we saw a mid-table battle as Borders Fjordus Reivers welcoming Iverleith, the Edinburgh based side may be one place higher than the Borders but they lost out by one goal, 3-2 as the Borders close the gap between the two teams.
Second place AAM Gordonians got a 2-1 away win over seventh place Granite City Wanderers. University of Dundee lost to Erskine Stewart Melville 6-1 which is a much better score line than when they played at the start of the season.
Aberdeen Asset Management Women’s National League Division 3
A great first win for struggling Bon Accord MBC with a 2-1 win against fourth place Ayr, who played again on Sunday and drew 1-1 with Aberdeen.
University of St Andrews have yet to lose a match as they extend their goal tally as they win 4-0 against Aberdeen.
Bottom side University of Strathclyde managed to hold second place Stirling University to just a 1-0 loss.
Championship League
East
Top team Edinburgh University II beat Watsonians 4-2 in a rearranged fixture.
West
Stirling Wanderers were to face Milne Craig Clydesdale Western III but the match was called off due to weathered pitch.
