Masters

Following the formation of the World Masters Hockey in August 2019, Scottish Hockey assisted in the creation of a single body to represent all Scottish International Masters teams from over 35 upwards.

Scottish Masters Hockey was set up in December 2020 and currently looks after 15 squads for men and women.

Squads are selected to compete in annual GB&I 4 Nations tournaments against Wales, Ireland and England as well as in biennial World Cup and European tournaments and other international competitions.

To date Scottish Hockey Masters has notched up some impressive results, including:

  • Gold – W60s, European Championships, Valencia, 2023
  • Silver – W65s and W55s, European Championships, Valencia, 2023
  • Bronze – M65s, European Championships, Valencia, 2023
  • Bronze – W40s, European Championships, Nottingham, 2023

 

  • Silver – W55s, W60s and W65s – World Cup, South Africa, 2022
  • Bronze – W50s – World Cup, South Africa, 2022

 

  • Gold – M45s, European Championships, Rotterdam, 2019
  • Silver – M55s, European Championships, Rotterdam, 2019
  • Bronze – M60s and W60s, European Championships, Belgium, 2019

You will require to be a member of SMH to take part in the activities. There is an initial annual subscription of £10 with a further £10 due on selection to the international training squad.
