Following the formation of the World Masters Hockey in August 2019, Scottish Hockey assisted in the creation of a single body to represent all Scottish International Masters teams from O35 up.

Scottish Masters Hockey was set up in December 2020 and currently looks after 15 squads for men and women.

The squads achieved excellent results at the European Championships in 2019 with the O45m becoming Champions, O55w winning a silver medal and the O60m and O60w bringing home bronze medals.
In total 7 teams finished their competitions ranked in the top 4 in their age group. A remarkable performance.

Training has already started for the 2022 competitive season with all of the squads preparing for their GB&I 4 Nations (previously Home Nations) and the respective World Cups to be held in:-

  • Nottingham – O35 & O40 m&w
  • Cape Town – O45, O50 & O55m- O45, O50, O55, O60 & O65w
  • Tokyo – O60, O65 & O70m
