Scotland’s U21 Men to play two-match series v Malaysia this week
Malaysia’s U21 squad is currently on a UK Tour and has already played matches with England U21 and Wales U23.
This Thursday and Friday, Scotland’s U21 Men will play Malaysia U21.
SPECTATORS are WELCOME!
Come along, see some top class international hockey, and support Scotland:
Thursday 14th October – 5pm PB (Clydesdale Hockey Club)
Friday 15th October – 7pm PB (Clydesdale Hockey Club)
Team Coach, Graham Moodie said, “We are delighted to host Malaysia in Glasgow and are very much looking forward to the series. We’ve had a great year of development already, having played a total of 14 international games against Scotland Seniors, England U21 and Wales U23.
The two-match series against Malaysia (World Ranked 11) will complete the squad’s 2021 fixtures.
In a development year ahead of the U21 Euro A Division in Belgium next summer, we have been able to give international match experience to over 30 players and we have picked a strong squad for these matches.
The series gives us a great opportunity to play against a different style of hockey and we want to improve on our positive performances against England U21 in September.”
