Scottish Hockey extend digital partnership with Blue2

Following the successful launch of their membership system, Blue2 is delighted to announce the extension of its digital partnership with Scottish Hockey until 2019 to include development of its competition system.
Scottish Hockey is the recognised national governing body for hockey in Scotland. It is a forward-thinking organisation committed to providing opportunities for more players to enjoy the sport from grassroots to the highest level.
The organisation is dedicated to providing innovative digital systems that will allow clubs and teams across the country to communicate effectively, and works in partnership with clubs, schools, members, funding bodies and district associations to effectively manage data and improve the way the sport is managed throughout Scotland.
Nial Chapman, Blue2’s digital director, said: We’re delighted to announce the extension of our relationship with Scottish Hockey until 2019. Working as their digital partners has been an exciting and challenging project and we’re thrilled to be able to continue working together on the development of their core systems.”
Scottish Hockey’s director Angie Keith said: ‘The creation of our new membership system and our relationship with Blue2 has been a great success and we’re really pleased to extend the partnership. The membership system has put important information about our clubs and teams right at our fingertips and allowed us to influence a number of important decisions, at both national and district level.”
We have already begun collaborating on some exciting and innovative digital solutions for future release, and look forward to supporting Scottish Hockey’s vision to promote the sport throughout Scotland.

The organisation is dedicated to providing innovative digital systems that will allow clubs and teams across the country to communicate effectively, and work in partnership with clubs, schools, members, funding bodies and district associations to effectively manage data and improve the way the sport is managed throughout Scotland.

Scottish Hockey’s IT director Angie Keith said: ‘The creation of our new membership system and our relationship with Blue2 has been a great success and we’re really pleased to extend the partnership to include a new competitions system and website.

“The membership system has put important information about our clubs and teams right at our fingertips and allowed us to influence a number of important decisions, at both national and district level.

“We are pleased that we have now been able to enter an initial testing phase with the new competitions system, while the website is now in a planning phase.”
