The Lanarkshire outfit are in the midst of a great run of form with six consecutive wins and will fancy their chances of chalking up another success against Wanderers.

Third place Aberdeen GSFP travel with confidence to Stepps having lost only one match this season and the home side will need a good performance to upset the form guide.

A capital derby features CALA Edinburgh and Erskine Stewart’s Melville FP with both teams eager to pick up points, while at the bottom of the division FMGM Monarchs are in need of points against Alpha Data Carnegie.

Struggling Glasgow University face two matches this weekend with an away fixture against Falkirk GHG, who have suffered recently against the top sides in the league, and are looking to get back to winning ways. On Sunday, the students welcome Granite City Wanderers.

In Aberdeen Asset Management Men’s National League Division 3 2020 Renewables Greenock are having a brilliant season and are yet to lose a match so far. They will be hoping to extend their lead as they face seventh place University of Strathclyde, who are having a mixed season.

Perthshire’s stunning double win last weekend saw them move up to second and could face a challenging match as they travel away to Waverley Inveresk Trinity. The Edinburgh based team have started to find form despite a close loss to the league leaders last weekend.

At the foot of the table, Stirling Wanderers take on ADTI Aberdeen University with both sides on the same points after just one win to their name. Both teams will be fighting for that win so expect a tense match.

Regional League

Central Division 1

Grange II remain unbeaten and top of the league; on Saturday they go away to fifth place Inverleith who suffered a large defeat at the hands of Thomson Cycles Kelburne last week. They have played some of their best hockey at home and will be hoping for the same as they will need to play out of their skins to challenge the top team.

Struggling Edinburgh University III seemed to have a good run of form only losing by one goal in their previous two matches. If they can finish strong the student led team may be able to get a point or more off Thomson Cycles Kelburne.

Bottom side Western Wildcats II have only three points on the board, they face ninth place Stepps who secured only their second win of the season last weekend and will hope to slowly move up the table with a result this weekend.

University of Stirling face a challenging weekend as they welcome third place PSL Team Sport Clydesdale II and second place Hillhead welcome Edinburgh University II.

Central Division 2

Table toppers Rottenrow Blue Sox’s goal tally has been stretched above the rest after a goal-spree resulting in eighteen goals last weekend. They welcome fifth place Clydeside who had a strong start to the season but have drawn or lost their past four matches and will be searching for their start of the season form.

At the other end of the table bottom Livingston & West Lothian welcome Falkirk II who are only one place above them in the table. Both teams are having a difficult season so will be desperate to take points off one another.

Struggling Glasgow University II face a challenging match against second place Anchor this weekend. Anchor will want the points to stay within distance of Rottenrow, while the student based team lost badly last weekend and it’s going to be a hard match for them.
