Trials News for Age Group Masters teams

Scotland Over 50s mens team are holding trials – see the info below.

Training and Selection for the Scotland Over 50s Mens Hockey Team will take place on Sunday17th April 2016 and Sunday1st May 2016 at Peffermill, Edinburgh.

 

Attendance at the trials is open to anybody who is eligible to represent Scotland

The over 60s and 70s teams are also holding trials – more details below.

 

All Scottish qualified players who will be aged 60 or over by 31 December 2016 are invited to try out for a place in the Scotland Over 60, Over 65 or Over 70 squads for the 2016 Home Internationals, to be played at Southgate, London on 1-3 July 2016.
Coach Murray Paton will make his selection following trials at Forthbank Stadium, Stirling, on Sunday 13 March at 11:00 for the Over 60 squad and at 15:00 for the Over 65 and Over 70 squads.
If you are interested in taking part in the trial, please email Scottish Veterans LX Hockey Club Secretary at [email protected] and arrive in plenty of time to make yourself known to Murray and to warm up before the advertised starting time.
Scotland have a trip to Australia coming up for the Grand Masters World Cup in Newcastle, New South Wales on 3-13 May 2016 (Over 60 and Over 65, squads already selected) and will also take part in the Celtic Cup in Marcq en Baroeul, France on 8-11 September 2016 (Over 60 and 65, squads to be selected later).
