Uddingston stretch their goal tally

 

Aberdeen Asset Management Men’s National League Division 2
Uddingston have extended their goal tally to a mighty 43 with a 7-1 away win against Falkirk GHG, which also keeps them top of the league. Aberdeen GDFP move up to second in the division after securing two wins over the weekend, 5-0 against CALA Edinburgh and 4-3 in a much closer match against University of St Andrews.
Stepps remain fourth after having a tough weekend losing by one goal to table toppers Uddingston 4-3 then 6-1 to Granite City Wanderers.
At the other end of the table struggling CALA Edinburgh got there first win of the season beating Glasgow University 5-2. Bottom of the table FMGM got their first point on the table holding University of St Andrews 1-1 after losing 2-0 to Falkirk GHG the day before. Ninth place Alpha Data Carnegie drew 2-2 with Glasgow University who sit just behind the Dunfermline based team.

2020 Renewables Greenock remain the team to beat, they have played 8 matches and have not lost one. They beat Giffnock 6-4 away from home then defeated bottom team Chapman Motherwell.
A point slipped passed University of Strathclyde with Harris Academy securing a last minute goal to win 4-3 on Saturday. However the student based team pulled out a big win with a staggering 11-0 over ADTI Aberdeen University on Sunday.
Second place Perthshire managed an 8-2 win against Stirling Wanderers, the Forthbank outfits didn’t have much luck with their second match of the weekend losing 5-1 to Waverly Inveresk Trinity.  Giffnock and Waverly Inveresk Trinity faced each other with the Bangholm based coming out on top 7-5.
Regional Men’s League – Central Division 1
Table toppers Grange II stay unbeaten with a 6-2 win against Stepps II.
University of Stirling had a mixed weekend, beating bottom team Western Wildcats 6-0 only to lose to fellow students, Edinburgh University III 4-2 on the Sunday. University of Stirling move up to eighth in the table as Edinburgh university III move down to ninth, after only just losing out to Grange III, 3-2.
Edinburgh University II move up to fifth in the division after facing defeat, 2-1 from Kelburne II but the Peffermill outfits picked up their heads to beat PSL team Sport Clydesdale 4-3.
Inverlieth II had a strong weekend with a 5-2 away win over Grange III followed by a close 4-3 home win against Stepps II. Struggling Western Wildcats II lost 4-2 when they welcomed Hillhead II.
Central Division 2
Rottenrow Blue Sox are undefeated and confirmed there place this weekend with a double win, beating third place Uddingston II 6-0 followed by a 4-0 away win over lower table team Alpha Data Carnegie II.
Anchor, who are only three points behind Rottenrow had a stunning win of 7-1 against PSL team Sport Clydesdale III while there match on Sunday against Watsonians II was postponed.
Mid table team Falkirk GHG II had a mixed weekend, after beating CALA Edinburgh at home 2-0 they went away and lost 3-0 to Uddingtson II. GHK travelled away and beat Watsonians II 5-2 while Clydeside drew 2-2 with East Kilbride.
North Division
It was a top of the table clash when AAM Gordonians II welcomed Granite City Wanderers II which ended in a point a piece, final score 2-2.
It was a mid table battle between Grove Menzieshill II and AAM Gordonians III which saw Grove move up to third after a 3-0 win at home.
Yet to win a match ADTI Aberdeen University II failed to get any points on the table this weekend, losing to Granite City Wanderers II 3-1 then to Aberdeen GSFP 5-0.
Aberdeen GSFP II and III faced each other where the IIs came out on top with a 3-1 win.
